Budagovski 9
From a cross of M-8 with Red Standard, Dr. Budagovski obtained a clone that he called Red-Leaved Paradise. The clone is now known as Budagovski 9 or simply Bud 9.
Bud-10®
Bud 10® is a rootstock that was released from Michurinsk University of Agriculture in Russia. Bred by Dr. Budagovsky, Bud 10® is a cross of Bud 9 x 13-14.
Budagovski 118
Bud 118 comes from a cross of Moscow Pear (a very winter hardy scion cultivar) and a mixture of M-8 and M-9 pollen. This breeding was done by Dr. Budagovski in Michurinsk, U.S.S.R.
EMLA 27
EMLA 27 was bred from a cross made in the spring of 1929, using Malling 13 (M. 13) as a seed parent and EMLA 9 as the pollen parent.
EMLA 9
M.9 was selected at East Malling from a number of stocks of Juane de Metz, a rootstock with a very long history.
EMLA 26
Malling 26 was bred at East Malling from a cross between M-9 and the very vigorous rootstock M-16 (Metziner Ideal). A virus-indexed EMLA clone was introduced by East Malling in 1969 / 1970.
EMLA 7
Malling 7 was selected at East Malling from a group of traditional French rootstocks known as Doucin.
EMLA 106
MM 106 resulted from a joint program of rootstock breeding carried out by East Malling Research Station and the John Innes Institute.
EMLA 111
EMLA 111 was a product of combined work of the East Malling Research Station and the John Innes Institute.
Geneva™ 11
Geneva® 11 is a 1978 cross of ‘M-26 X Robusta 5’ crabapple hybridized by the Cornell University/Geneva Apple Rootstock Breeding Program.
Geneva® 41
Geneva® 41 is a 1975 cross of ‘Malling 27 X Robusta 5’ by the Cornell University/Geneva Apple Rootstock Breeding Program.
Geneva® 214
Geneva® 214 originated from a planned cross in 1975 of ‘Ottawa 3 x Robusta 5’ by Cornell University and Geneva Apple Rootstock Breeding Program.
