  • Geneva® 210 rootstock is a hybrid cross between ‘Ottawa 3 and Robusta 5’ by Cornell University and Geneva Apple Rootstock Breeding Program in 1975.

  • Geneva® 210 produces trees that are 35% to 40% of seedling. In Washington State it is closer to Pajam® 2 size and closer to Emla 26 size in New York conditions.

  • Geneva® 210 is resistant to Replant disease, Fire Blight (Erwinia amylovora), Woolly Apple Aphids, and very tolerant to Root Rot (Phytophthora). Geneva® 210 is also fairly winter hardy.

  • Geneva® 210 grows well in layer or stool bed producing good rooting. It is also easily propagated but does produce a few suckers. Geneva® 210 also produces a few side limbs or spines that have to be removed in the nursery.

  • Geneva® 210 would be a good replacement for Geneva® 30. It is also precocious, productive, freestanding and would be a good choice for the processing industry.
